This is a short documentary film about The Bristol Bike Project, which was set up in December 2008 by James Lucas and Colin Fan. The Bristol Bike Project aims to provide free bicycles to underprivileged groups that would not otherwise have the opportunity to own a bicycle.
The film tells the story of the Bike Project from the perspective of Dahir (from Somalia) and Aziz (from Afghanistan), who are both applying for political asylum to stay in the UK, and draws together the different threads of cycling, recycling and community that The Bristol Bike Project represents.

Evolution of Type Taste by Typographer/Illustrator/Designer Jessica Hische.
University of Bath – Web designer
2-3 days work a week over the next 3 months in this capacity? The role
would suit someone with good design skills and an understanding of the
requirements of designing for the web. Any ability with web skills
(HTML/CSS) would be a distinct advantage.
Obviously there is an opportunity for the right candidate to gain
experience working on a live project, and also in an office
environment. And they will pick up skills that will benefit them in
the future.
We cannot pay a great deal due to the way HR works here, but the role
will pay around £12p/h.

Bluestone360 — Vacancy
We currently have a vacancy for a design graduate here at Bluestone360. We’re a Plymouth based integrated branding agency and have been in Business for over 21 years. A good percentage of our work here is for FMCG clients, and we are expanding our digital offering all the time. We recently moved to a stunning new location at Royal William Yard in Plymouth. The move really does represent our brand ethos, as the Yard looks set to become ‘the’ cultural and creative centre for the city. Our website is currently being updated where you can find a link to our previous version.
Ultimately, we need a junior with bags of enthusiasm, talent and dedication to join the team.
