The August War / Georgia 2008. A series of projects that look into the ‘South Ossetian Conflict’ that happened during August 2008 in Georgia with one of it’s breakaway regions ( South Ossetia). The main emphasis of the work is to aid the understanding of the conflict and to bring into light the factors of why it began, the western media coverage and how it had been perceived in western culture, and stories from individuals who were there at the time. Thus providing information about a conflict which many of the younger generation know little about.
