My work for the past year has been focused on post- modernists theory of the ‘loss of the real’. I focused this theory on preconceptions, assumptions and imagination concerning countries and cultures that have not been experienced first hand. Through this study I have questioned whether or not we have entered into a mediated memory rather than an authentic experience.
